FAQs

Here are some of the common questions that come with getting a spray tan:

When to Book Your Tan

If you have an event, I would suggest booking your spray tan, 1-2 days prior to the event and at least 2 days prior to vacation. If you are a bride/groom, make sure to schedule 2-weeks out, a free consultation, and free spray tan testing.

What Do I Wear?

Always dress down to your comfort level. For women, I am perfectly fine with you being naked, as I have spray tanned hundreds of bodybuilders in this manner. Typically, you can wear a two-piece bikini or be in bra + undie- so long as you make sure to wash your garments as soon as you can! For men, you too may dress down to your comfort level but please cover your private area.

*For a small upcharge of $3, I have disposable garments if needed!

How Long will My Tan last?

As long as you follow the post-care instructions I provide, BTG tans per the Norvell & MineTan solutions that we currently use, will last 7-10 days!

PRO TIPS:

  • After your 1st rinse + every shower thereafter, you should begin to moisturize.

  • Do not exfoliate until your tan begins to fade.

  • Just stop using Dove...period! Like the nutrition labels, check the ingredients in your bath products! If your body wash sulfates petrolatum, mineral oil, liquid paraffin, or parabens- don't use it after getting your spray tan.

  • If you got a sun burn, make sure it has fully healed. You never want to get a spray tan when the skin is damaged/peeling.
